Flats or Ballet slippers for my wedding?

Me and my fiance are the same height. (hes taller with dress shoes ) But i would like to wear flats plus they wont hurt my feet at the end of the day! I like ballet slippers but im looking for some cheap ones. I think davids bridal is over priced for them. I just need white ones. Nothing fancy. Noone will really see them anyways? Idea? Websites?

Try Payless. They have flat, white satin ballet slippers for like $15. I worked there years ago and we used to sell them all the time for weddings.

Reply:Once springtime hits, the shoe stores will be flooded with white shoes. Target %26amp; Payless are great options. For a variety, try DSW.
Reply:do you have a K-mart near you? I know they aren%26#039;t everywhere anymore but there%26#039;s one by me and it%26#039;s where I buy all of the dance stuff for my daughter. They also have ballet shoes and are pretty cheap. I think you could find them at Wal-Mart too but not sure
Reply:I wore silver ballet flats from Aldo...they were the stretchy, really comfortable kind. They are not available online, but I think they still have them in the store...they%26#039;re on the kiosk in the middle, not where the %26quot;real shoes%26quot; are. They were only $25 and really comfortable. They probably have them in white.

I%26#039;ve gotten several pair over the years for different weddings I%26#039;ve been in. If the bride doesn%26#039;t care what shoes I wear, this is what I put on. Unfortunately, I%26#039;m not wearing them for my own wedding. Because it%26#039;s outside, I didn%26#039;t want to step on a sharp rock or something and be limping all day long.

Reply:Last year, ballerina pumps were HUGE in the UK. I stocked up on a couple of pairs of black and white ones, which would be ideal. I%26#039;m looking to wear heels, but I know I can%26#039;t stand them for too long, so I%26#039;ll probably end up wearing my white pumps. Try looking aruond in local shoe shops. you%26#039;ll be amazed what you can find...
Reply:Alternately, you could go to a dance supply store. They usually sell real ballet flats, often in white.

Reply:Have you tried dance supply stores in your town and on the net? There are some really lovely ballet slippers in online dance and discount wedding stores... even on Amazon (which I think have dyeable ones so you can adjust them to your dress if you change your mind on white...).
